Honoring the truth in YOLO, my friends Alex, Victor, Sam and I, were planning a cruise trip to the Western Caribbean. We wanted fiesta and music, but we also wanted to go beyond and explore new ways to test our spirit of adventure. So, when looking online for the perfect route, we discovered a port that promised fun and adventure, that was exactly what we needed: A trip to Costa Maya.
At the beautiful seashores of the Mexican Caribbean, lies a waterpark built around the legends of an old civilization, the Mayans.
Located in Mahahual, the lazy town that houses Costa Maya, this amazing waterpark, Mayá, Lost Mayan Kingdom, guards many mysteries for you to come and discover, and the only way to unveil them is venturing into the jungle to test your courage.
Let me tell you something. When I am with my family, every moment is unforgettable, but I love capturing every memory in a picture, so when I look at them, I can relive those special moments every time I want. And there is a place that gave me just what my picture-craving-self needed: Maya, Lost Mayan Kingdom, the waterpark in Costa Maya.
All my life I wished for an experience that combined adrenaline and relaxation. I could never imagine that I could find this it in a waterpark. A place that invited me to live an expedition on air and water and which made me feel part of the jungle that surrounds it. That’s what I lived when my family and I visited Mayá Lost Mayan Kingdom during our cruise to Costa Maya.
